Parents ​

The Parent/Grandparent visa allows a 6 month stay in the country each time and is valid for upto 3 years. This means that one can stay onshore for  6 months and then travel back to country of origin for 6 months

Then we have the Permanent category which has ,

1. The parent resident visa

2. The parent retirement category

The Parent Resident Visa in New Zealand allows adult children who are New Zealand citizens or residents to sponsor their parents for permanent residency in New Zealand.

Partner

There are various options as far as this pathway is concerned and would depend on your individual situation.  These are offered for , a temporary or a Permanent stay.

1. Visitor visa based on partnership

2. Work Visa based on partnership

And one can then apply for Residency based on Partnership as well
